He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a B.S. in psychology and a minor in biochemistry. He went to medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI where he was exposed to complex trauma and medical conditions. Dr. Khan went on to complete surgical training at renowned institutions such as Wayne State, William Beaumont, UCSF, and Baylor College of Medicine at the Texas Medical Center.
